Willis O'Brien's follow-up to his stop-motion animation work on King Kong and Son of Kong found this giant ape, the "pet" of a small child, going to America where he's exploited until he runs amok. The effect work of O'Brien is impressive and the film also boasts the early work of Ray Harryhausen. A captivating image of Joe fills this Spanish poster that displays lively color and nice condition after restoration. Touchup was applied to a tear in the mid vertical fold, a vertical tear in the "G" of "Gran," tears in the bottom section and bottom border, a tear in the bottom border that extends up past Joe's arm into the blue background, a chip and nicks in the right border and the left border.
