Description

King Kong (RKO, 1933). French Poster Advance (47" X 63"). Willis O'Brien's title creature captivated the world when he was first seen on the big screen in 1933, and "King Kong" remains one of the greatest science-fiction/horror films of all time. This poster has fold line wear with separation at the fold line intersections, and minor border imperfections: tears, chips, pinholes and minor paper loss. This large format French "advance" poster enticed audiences with its big bold block letters, foreshadowing the viewing of a spectacle the silver screen had never known. Fine/Very Fine.
