Jaws (Mondo, 2013). Rolled, Near Mint+. Hand Numbered Limited Edition Screen Print Poster (24" X 36"). Laurent Durieux Artwork.
Belgian artist Laurent Durieux created this wonderful and unique take on Steven Spielberg's Jaws for Mondo in 2013. Roger Kastal's original artwork for Jaws is one of film's most iconic images, so rather than compete with Kastal, Durieux chose to turn his focus elsewhere. Focusing the beach of Amity Island before the great white shark turns the fun time into a day of terror coveys a sense of tension that might otherwise be lost if he had focused solely on the shark itself. The poster is hand numbered 271/525 in the bottom right corner of the image area. This screen print poster is in fantastic condition, having only the softest of creases in the border and a slight smudge in the graphite where the poster is numbered. There is also an official Jaws stamp on the verso.

    Estimate: $3,000 - $6,000.
