    Description

House on Haunted Hill (Allied Artists, 1959). Three Sheet (41" X 79") Reynold Brown Artwork.
Frederick Loren (Vincent Price) makes several strangers an offer they can't refuse: spend a single night in my haunted mansion and receive $10,000. The catch is, they have to be alive to collect in the morning! This fun film earned such large profits - no doubt bolstered by producer William Castle's usage of the "Emergo" gimmick, in which a plastic skeleton on a wire flew out at the audience at a key point in the film - that it led director Alfred Hitchcock to create his own low-budget horror picture, Psycho. A classic piece for horror fans with great Reynold Brown artwork, this poster shows slight edge and fold wear, pinholes into the background, and creasing. There are some unobtrusive stains and smudges, and the poster displays surface rippling. Folded, Fine/Very Fine.

    Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
