Ackerman and publisher James Warren built a rabid following of fans for the genre from 1958-1983. Featuring four issues including the August 1961 13th Anniversary Edition (with articles about a young boy's tour of Ackerman's house, The Incredible Shrinking Man, The Beasts of Tarzan, and The Thing from Another World), The April 1961 #11 issue (with articles about Gorgo, Edgar Allen Poe, Lon Chaney Jr. and House of Wax), the June 1961 #12 (with articles about Curse of the Werewolf and The Thing from Another World, robots such as TOBOR and Robby the Robot, a remembrance to Ernest Thesiger, and reviews about I Was a Teenage Frankenstein), and the October 1961 #14 issue (with articles about Vincent Price, The Cyclops, make-up artist Dick Smith and London After Midnight). Unrestored magazines that display signs of use. May include light edge or handling wear, slight page separations, very minor paper loss, pinholes, toning due to age, or unobtrusive stains.
