Dracula (Universal, R-1938). Title Lobby Card (11" X 14").
Bela Lugosi, the legend, returns to the screens in this reissue of his greatest film, Dracula. In some regards, this title card is almost better than the original as it depicts the Count getting ready to put the bite on Helen Chandler's neck. While the films was extremely popular in its initial run in 1931, it was reissued in 1938 to a whole new legion of fans. Title cards for this release are rarely offered. The card shows two pinholes in the upper border and three more in the left border, very slight smudges, and a mild tear in the upper left corner that has been repaired on the verso with paper tape. The top left corner also has rounded. None of these minor defects take away from the beauty of this classic card. Very Fine-.
