Fredric March gives an Academy Award-winning performance in his incredible dual role for this classic horror film. Directed by Rouben Mamoulian, this film also features Miriam Hopkins as the prostitute Hyde lusts after, while Rose Hobart acts as Jekyll's more refined love interest. The transformation special effects (from Jekyll to Hyde) were major feats for the day and still astound modern audiences. Long thought a "lost" film, with MGM buying up the rights to remake the story in 1941, the movie finally resurfaced decades later. Graced with a generous dose of Art Deco elegance by Swedish airbrush artist Gerö, this stone litho Heritage first displays almost no signs of use. Its very few flaws include slight edge wear, light handling creases, and a bit of printing transfer in the upper right corner from writing on the verso. Folded, Very Fine/Near Mint.
