    Description

    Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (Paramount, 1931). Very Good/Fine on Cardstock. Framed and Matted Window Card (14" X 22") with Autographed Cards (3) (4.5" X 2.25, 5" X 3.5", & 6" X 3.5").
So rare that is has not been offered at Heritage in a decade, this window card comes from what many regard as Fredric March's greatest film. He won his second Academy Award for his dual portrayal of the tortured doctor, bringing a deranged edge to Robert Louis Stevenson's literary character that has never been replicated. Accompanying the window card are three smaller cards bearing the signatures of the film's lead players: March, Miriam Hopkins, and Rose Hobart. This all comes matted in a frame, creating an excellent display piece. Showcasing very well, this window card has been backed on cardstock with professional restoration work done to surface wear, small chips, and paper lifts. The borders, imprint area, background, and much of the text, and small parts of March's faces have received skilled airbrushing. There's no doubt that this exceedingly rare window card would be a top-of-the-list acquisition for any horror fan.
