Day of the Dead by George A. Romero (United Film Distribution, 1984). Fine/Very Fine. Original Third Version Second Draft Script (88 Pages, 8.5" X 11").
The Living Dead saga continued with this, the third film in the series. Romero had planned for this film to be the last of a trilogy, however, the success of this picture would prove the living dead would not stay dead. Romero's version of zombies would create a whole new genre of horror in cinema and any original scripts from Romero's Laurel Productions are important for their venture into this new world of horror. This second draft script of George Romero's horror flick comes bradded with blue wrappers and a clear protective sleeve around the front cover that was added after production. The script shows some mild edge and spine wear, slight spine separation, and small tears. Most of these issues are seen on the wrappers, which also have mild color fading on the outside and some staining that persists into the pages. The plastic protective sheet on the front cover has a couple of piece of cellophane tape on the left side.

    Estimate: $1,500 - $3,000.
