"Amazing! Startling! Shocking!" This fantastic half sheet didn't hold back when it came to letting audiences know what they could expect from Universal's final classic monster, the Creature. Renowned artist Reynold Brown truly captured the feel of the underwater thrills from Jack Arnold's horror classic in this piece. The film was so successful, it would go on to spawn two sequels. Prior to restoration, the half sheet had pinholes in the borders and corners, edge tears, a tear in the bottom right border going into the credits, chips in the top and bottom right corners, fold wear, fold separation, and slight fading. Touch-up work has been applied to those areas, as well as the borders and the words "Black Lagoon" in the title. Fine- on Linen.
