    Description

Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein (Universal International, 1948). CGC Graded Lobby Card Set of 8 (11" X 14").
In one of Universal's greatest moments of inspiration, the studio decided to bring together two of their most popular franchises; the Abbott and Costello series with the Monster series. Bud Abbott and Lou Costello are terrified and menaced by Frankenstein's Monster (Glenn Strange), Dracula (Bela Lugosi) and the Wolf Man (Lon Chaney Jr.). This would be the last time that the actors would appear on the silver screen as their legendary monster alter-egos. This incredibly nice set of cards is being offered all together and overall, the set grades in Very Fine to Near Mint condition. Individually, CGC has graded these cards as follows; Title Card 8.0, Cards #3 and #8 in 8.5, Cards #2 and #6 in 9.0, Cards #4 and #7 in a stunning 9.2 and Card #5 with Lon Chaney as the Wolf Man in 9.4. Very Fine/Near Mint.
