    Horror of Dracula (Universal International, 1958). Folded, Fine+. Italian 2 - Fogli (39.5" X 55.25").
A fantastic piece making its first ever appearance at Heritage, this Italian 2 - fogli showcases Christopher Lee at his ghoulish best as the world's most infamous Count. Posters from Hammer Films' retinue of creepy classics are always in high demand among horror fans, doubly so for the unique Italian posters and their trademark top-notch quality of artwork. This film marked Lee and Peter Cushing's second cinematic pairing after the duo's success in 1957's The Curse of Frankenstein, becoming both good friends and onscreen partners in over twenty films. Now emblematic of the horror genre, the two have garnered a loyal following of fans for their work on the Frankenstein and Dracula series that made their films box office successes for years. This first-time offering shows such general signs of use as slight fold wear and separations, pinholes, minor chips, and small tears, a few of which have light touchup in the top right horizontal fold. Also visible is some mild toning, as well as a couple of tax stamps to the right of Lee's portrait and some faint staining within Melissa Stribling's image. There are pieces of masking tape on the verso and tape stains in the borders and folds on the front, but these do not affect the main image. Certainly a rare item, aficionados of cinema's darker side would be remiss to not have this poster high on their wish list!
