Description

    Hollywood Photo Lot & Other Lot (1930s-1950s). Photos (200+) (approx. 8" X 10") & Press Materials (25 Pages, 8.5" X 11"). Miscellaneous.
Vintage gelatin silver, single weight, glossy photos. This collection of photos include a vast array and different genres of filmmaking over at lease two decades. Actors include W.C. Fields, Lou Costello, Bing Crosby, Vincent Price, Basil Rathbone, Margaret Sullivan, Joan Blondell, The Andrew Sisters, Jackie Cooper, and Joel McCrea, just name a few. Some noted films include Ride 'em Cowboy (1942), East Side of Heaven (1939), Flying Tigers (1942), Always a Bridesmaid (1943), The Invisible Woman (1940), Man Made Monster (1941), The Great Waltz (1938), and Fight for Your Lady (1937). Also included are press materials from Fired Wife (Universal, 1943). Unrestored items with overall presentable appearances. They may have slight edge wear, corner bends, some curling, smudges, unobtrusive stains, very minor paper lifts, minor surface checking, small tears, soft surface indentations, and may show signs of light toning. There are trimmed and identical photos in this lot. Due to the size/weight of this lot, shipping costs will be higher than usual. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. It goes without saying that after the auction when we had a chance to have dinner together and get to know each other it even made it a better experience for me. I look forward to getting more involved with Heritage in the Future.
