Description

Vertigo (Paramount, 1958). Folded, Fine/Very Fine. Italian 4 - Fogli (55" X 78"). Enzo Nistri Artwork.
Alfred Hitchcock's character John "Scottie" Ferguson (James Stewart) is a private detective with a problem: an incapacitating fear of heights. It's a problem he's going to have to rise above once he finds himself drawn into a web of mystery and deceit while on the trail of Madeleine (Kim Novak), whose strange behavior has prompted her husband to have her followed. Offered in this lot is the beautiful Italian 4 fogli with artwork by artist Enzo Nistri. Indications of use include slight fold wear and separation, pinholes, soft creases, and a few tears. There are minor chips, edge and fold toning, faint ink writing bleedthrough, as well as mostly unobtrusive stains. There are a few small spots of paint in the upper panel. The verso has a piece of cellophane tape, in addition to painted writing, however it is not visible from the front.
