Vertigo (Paramount, 1958). Autographed One Sheet (27" X 41").Over fifty years after its release, this riveting Alfred Hitchcock thriller of darkness and obsession has remained one of the master director's most studied works. James Stewart and Kim Novak star in this story of a police detective's obsessive struggle with guilt, fear and desire. Famous graphic designer, Saul Bass, created the look of this trend-setting poster, which has the distinction of being signed by the artist himself in the bottom right corner. This one sheet had sun fading but has had excellent restoration to address that. There were also small holes in the bottom right corner, a chip and small hole in the bottom border, and chips along the folds in the bottom section, all of which have also been restored. A prized poster for devotees of Bass and Hitchcock. Fine- on Linen.
