To Catch a Thief (Paramount, 1955). Half Sheet (22" X 28") Style A.What's a reformed jewel thief to do, other than spend his days of retirement lounging along the French Riviera? That's precisely what John Robie (Cary Grant), former gem-burglar-extraordinaire, intends to do. That is, until a copycat cat burglar embarks on a crime spree, and suspicion naturally falls on Robie. Determined to ferret out the real crook, he finds time to become involved with rich-but-bored socialite Frances Stevens (Grace Kelly) along the way. Directed by the master of suspense, Alfred Hitchcock, this was the film that lured Grant out of his announced retirement. Prior to being paperbacked, the piece had pinholes, but was never folded. Some post-restoration dings can been seen in the bottom border. Very Fine on Paper.
