    Description

Tippi Hedren in The Birds (Mattel Inc., 2008). Black Label Collection Barbie (Approximately 4" X 12") in Original Packaging (8" X 13" X 3.5"). Hitchcock.
Offered is a fabulously rendered homage to Tippi Hedren in Alfred Hitchcock's 1963 eerie epic, The Birds, released in conjunction with the film's 45th anniversary, for Mattel's Black Label Barbie Collection - sensational dolls designed for the adult collector. Hedren has also been a lifelong animal rights activist, and her support of the Shambala Preserve and the Roar Foundation are mentioned on the box, as well. An unrestored Barbie doll with bright color and a clean overall appearance. The figure itself is still in fantastic shape, and remains well-secured to its cardboard stand. The packaging has been opened, and shows some edge and surface wear, including light smudges, scuffs, and scratches. There is a piece of packing tape on the verso. The piece also includes a plastic stand, which remains sealed in the back of the cardboard. Please see full-color, enlargeable images above for more details. Very Fine+.
