    Description

The Man Who Knew Too Much (Paramount, 1956). Silk Screen Banner (24" X 82").
It was the only film Alfred Hitchcock would remake. In this 1956 version, he cast James Stewart and Doris Day as his typical American couple on vacation in French Morocco. Suddenly they see a friend get stabbed and as he lays dying, he gives Stewart his dying words, that an assassination is going to happen in London. When their son then gets kidnapped to keep them quiet, it's up to the parents to stop the murder and save their son at the same time. It was Hitchcock in high form, the master of the espionage thriller, and letting viewers identify with the common couple as disaster suddenly takes control of their lives. This very rare banner has edge wear, creases, mild tears, and unobtrusive stains and smudging. There are some surface scuffs in the interior, but the interior is mostly clean. Rolled, Fine/Very Fine.
