The Birds (Universal, 1963). Lobby Card Set of 8 (11" X 14").Tippi Hedren and Rod Taylor face a slew of murderous fowl in this lobby card set from Alfred Hitchcock's classic film. Known primarily as a master of murder mysteries and spy plots, the famed director set his sights on horror with Psycho. The Birds would solidify his reputation in the genre. This always popular set shows pinholes in the borders of four cards, a light stain on card #1, a bend in the upper right corner and a reissue stamp in the lower corner of card #4, and a tear and a nick in the upper border of cart #8.
