The Birds (Universal, 1963). Insert (14" X 36").Tippi Hedren shrieks in terror as she's ravaged by swarms of evil birds on this poster inspired by one of Alfred Hitchcock's most riveting horror tales. Hedren's first starring role proved to be quite a challenge, as it's rumored Hitch put her through dozens of takes of this horrifying attack scene. The film co-stars Rod Taylor and was based on the novel by Daphne De Maurier. Only a light stain in the top border and extra folds keep this highly collected insert from grading higher. Folded, Fine/Very Fine.
