Suspicion (RKO, R-1961). Italian 4 - Fogli (55" X 78").
Cary Grant romances Joan Fontaine in this moody thriller, and in classic Hitchcock fashion the courtship only marks the beginning of a descent into the darker and darker spectrum of human emotions. Hitchcock wanted to keep the original ending of the source book - Francis Iles' Before the Fact - but RKO intervened out of fear that Cary Grant's star image might be tarnished. This Italian reissue 4 - fogli features terrific artwork of the film's stars and director, with Grant front and center... there's something not quite right about that man's eyes. The poster still shows bright color, and wear is limited to light fold separation, faint creases, small tears, and chips and faint toning in the edges and folds. There are a few pieces of archival tape on the verso. Folded, Fine/Very Fine.
