Once again, a new marriage carries an ominous threat for Fontaine, whose innocent face Hitchcock enjoyed darkening with the shadows of predators. Cary Grant hardly makes as fearsome a presence as Judith Anderson's Mrs. Danvers, but his ingratiating charm somehow makes him more dangerous. General signs of handling found on these cards includes slight edge wear, soft corner bends, and mostly unobtrusive stains and smudges. The scene card has pinholes, a faint tape stain and small paper lift at the top, and a thin cellophane tape remnants on the verso. the title card has a piece of paper tape on the verso as well.
