Description

Suspicion (RKO, 1941). Insert (14" X 36").
Certainly one of the most difficult formats to find from this Alfred Hitchcock title is the insert. Wartime paper drives and general attrition have taken their tolls, and many collectors are loathe to part with such a great image from such an important film. This poster features a wonderful shot of Cary Grant's scheming countenance and Joan Fontaine lovely, fearful face. There has been touchup to the folds, pinholes in the borders, and a scratch in the left side of the poster. The borders and verso of the insert have been airbrushed, and its folds have been pressed out. Folded, Very Fine-.
