Description

Suspicion (RKO, 1941). Half Sheet (22" X 28") Style B.
Cary Grant is the gold digger and Joan Fontaine is the wealthy heiress who loves him, until she comes to believe that he's going to kill her for the inheritance. Fontaine won an Oscar for her performance (the only acting Oscar ever for a Hitchcock film) and Grant is surprisingly effective as a blackguard. Grant and Fontaine are featured twice on this style B half sheet, along with Nigel Bruce at the bottom right. Alfred Hitchcock completists won't want to miss this opportunity to own this poster from one the scarcest titles all of the master director's films. Professional restoration has repaired a bit of edge wear, pinholes in the corners of the background, two tears in the top border, a stain in the right border, and a small tear and stain at the bottom left. Rolled, Fine+.
