Description

Shadow of a Doubt (Universal, 1943). Lobby Cards (2) (11" X 14").
A couple of key scenes from Alfred Hitchcock's thriller including perhaps the best card from the set. Teresa Wright sits across from her favorite uncle, Joseph Cotten, turning in one of the best performances of his career as a serial killer. In the other card, the young children see that the newspaper is mutilated and then finds the clipping hidden in Cotten's room! There has been some minimal restoration in the Wright and Cotten card for a tear in the bottom into the artwork, a chip in the top border, border pinholes, a lower right corner crease, and some mild touch-up. The newspaper card has not been restored and has only a light scratch in the border art. Fine.
