Secret Agent (Gaumont, 1936). Lobby Card (11" X 14").John Gielgud stars as a nebbish novelist who is enlisted by the British secret service to assassinate an evil foreign agent. Peter Lorre, Robert Young and Madeleine Carroll co-star. Hitchcock's early masterpiece has long been considered an under appreciated classic. Posters for this film remains rare and this lovely card features Robert Young and co-star Madeleine Carroll. The card had some wear to the borders and some slight staining in the lower credit area. The card has been skillfully restored as the borders have been airbrushed as has the verso. Fine+.
