Rear Window (Paramount, 1954). Half Sheet (22" X 28") Style B.
In one of Alfred Hitchcock's best films, James Stewart portrays a photographer who is temporarily out of commission due to his leg being in a cast. Boredom soon settles in and he spends most of his time watching his neighbors through his camera lens-- a voyeuristic lifestyle if there ever was one! When he believes he witnesses a murder, his equally bored girlfriend (Grace Kelly) decides to be his "legs" and helps investigate the case. This incredibly popular and very rare half sheet features the two amateur sleuths in the midst of their avocation. The poster was folded but has been paperbacked to flatten the folds. The folds have had color touch-up along with a few pinholes in the borders. There was also a slight surface paper abrasion in the upper left corner. The professional restoration was very well done and the poster displays beautifully. Very Fine- on Paper.
