Psycho (Paramount, 1960). Fine/Very Fine on Linen. Autographed One Sheet (27" X 41.75"). Hitchcock. From the Collection of Frank Buxton, of which the sale's proceeds will benefit The San Francisco Silent Film Festival.
Starring Anthony Perkins, Janet Leigh, Vera Miles, John Gavin, Martin Balsam, John McIntire, Simon Oakland, Vaughn Taylor, Frank Albertson, Lurene Tuttle, Patricia Hitchcock, John Anderson, Mort Mills, Alfred Hitchcock, Frank Killmond, and Ted Knight. Directed by Alfred Hitchcock. A partially restored poster that displays signs of use. May include slight edge or fold wear, fold separations, a few misfolds, pinholes, faint smudges and ink transfer, or small chips and tears. Some of these issues have been addressed through restoration. The borders have been mostly airbrushed and the poster displays some unaddressed color fading. The poster has been signed by Janet Leigh. Heritage Auctions believes that the autographed item in this lot is authentic, but know before bidding that no Certificate of Authenticity is provided. Grades on all restored items are pre-restoration grades.
