Notorious (RKO, 1946). Very Fine-. Behind-the-Scenes Keybook Photos (12) (Approx. 8" X 10").
With one of the most gripping final acts in all of director Alfred Hitchcock's films, Notorious is a tense spy thriller starring Cary Grant, Ingrid Bergman, and Claude Rains. Offered here is a collection of linen-backed keybook photos taken on the set of the film. These vintage silver gelatin, single weight, glossy finish photos show Hitchcock's candid interactions with Grant, Bergman, and Rains as well as with crew members including assistant director Bill Dorfman, cameraman Ted Tetzlaff, prop man Count D'Esco, and script girl Gana Jones. The linen that previously attached the photos into a binder has been trimmed to each photo's edge, and a few of the photos have tiny slivers of paper loss on the left edge where they were trimmed a bit too closely. The photos also show minimal edge wear, light toning, some checking, faint smudges, and minor creases and surface indentations. There are also unobtrusive stains, faint scuffs, and surface blemishes. All but one photo has a paper snipe attached to the verso explaining the image on the opposite side.
