Notorious (MGM, R-1958). Very Fine- on Linen. French Grande (47.5" X 63") Roger Soubie Artwork.Alfred Hitchcock's wonderful pastiche of espionage and betrayal stars Cary Grant, Ingrid Bergman, Claude Rains, Louis Calhern, and Madame Konstantin. One of Hitchcock's most chilling films, it earned two Academy Award nominations, including Best Supporting Actor for Claude Rains and Best Writing for Ben Hecht. This lovely reissue French poster features wonderful artwork by Roger Soubie. Professional restoration has addressed fold wear, a couple of minor tears, and a few small chips. Some of these issues may still be noticeable. The borders and which background have been airbrushed with a few minor cracks in the restoration.
