Description
North by Northwest (MGM, 1959). One Sheet (27" X 41").This great one sheet is from director Alfred Hitchcock's funny, fast paced, nail-biter North by Northwest. Utilizing one of Alfred Hitchcock's favorite scenarios (this could happen to anybody), Innocent ad exec Cary Grant goes to lunch and steps into a nightmare. Mistaken for a government agent, he becomes the target of a group of foreign spies and is soon the chief suspect in a murder investigation. His only hope of salvation is the beautiful Eva Marie Saint, who may or may not be all that she appears. The climax atop Mount Rushmore and the footrace against a menacing crop-duster are two of the most thrilling sequences in all cinema. Restoration has addressed a tear in the right border, fold wear, and airbrushing has corrected chips in the borders and folds. Fine on Linen.
