Lifeboat (20th Century Fox, 1944). Fine+ on Linen. Half Sheet (22" X 28").
It's a marriage of two masters, as Alfred Hitchcock brings John Steinbeck's work to the silver screen in this tension-fraught film. Emotions rise as a small lifeboat of survivors from a torpedoed freighter take on a man who turns out to be the commander of the U-boat that sunk their ship. Although backed on linen no touchup has been applied and the linen is trimmed to the borders. There is edge and fold wear, mild fold separations, pinholes, and small tears. The poster also has creases, smudging, and unobtrusive stains. There are tape stains in the borders, one of which extends into the background. The top right corner has a small bit of cellophane tape. Fine+ on Linen.
