Description

Foreign Correspondent (United Artists, 1940). Lobby Cards (3) (11" X 14").
This thrilling spy drama from director Alfred Hitchcock finds Joel McCrea traveling to England to represent his American newspaper as he covers the impending war in Europe. And as fate would have it, he witnesses the assassination of a Dutch Ambassador. From there, the story follows the intrepid reporter as he tries to infiltrate a group of Nazi spies responsible for the assassination. It was Hitchcock at the top of his game and these lobbies depict some of the key moments in this thrilling drama. Laraine Day, Herbert Marshall and George Sanders round out the cast in this political plot twister. Signs of handling include corner bends, smudging, a top border that was folded back, creasing, a tear with tape on the verso, and one card has had 1/8 " of the top border replaced. Fine+.
