Dial M for Murder (Warner Bros., 1954). Very Fine+ on Linen. French Grande (45.5" X 62.5").
When Tony Wendice discovers that his wife Margot is having an affair with mystery writer Mark Halliday, he decides to murder her to inherit her fortune and remove her lover from the picture. He blackmails a shady acquaintance, Charles Swann, into committing the perfect crime while Tony arranges an airtight alibi. However, the plan goes wrong when Margot fights back and kills Swann in self-defense. Tony quickly reworks the evidence to frame her for murder. Backed to linen, only faint touch-up has addressed light wear to the folds, a small chip at a fold junction and a 5-inch split in the upper right area. This was done expertly and the poster displays beautifully.
