    Description

His Ex Marks the Spot (Columbia, 1940). Folded, Fine+. One Sheet (28" X 41"). From the collection of Leonard and Alice Maltin.
To avoid paying alimony to his ex-wife, Buster Keaton has the ex and her boyfriend move in with him and his new wife. Chaos ensues of course but Buster figures out a solution to his woes. Directed by Jules White of Three Stooges fame, with gags by his long-time partner Clyde Bruckman, this would be near to the last short Keaton would make. One of the star's better later comedy shorts, never offered by Heritage before. There are such signs of use as edge and fold wear, fold separations, pinholes, and soft creases. Also apparent are minor tears, small chips, and unobtrusive stains. The upper crossfold has a piece of paper tape on the verso that is somewhat visible from the front. Folded, Fine+.

    Estimate: $600 - $1,200.
