His Bunkie (Vitagraph, 1915). Fine- on Linen. One Sheet (28" X 42.25").
This is a definitive example of early cinema advertising for one of the earliest film studio's productions. His Bunkie is a tale of old Army buddies and their shared love for a woman. Posters rarely turn up from this time period and they make a wonderful collectible. Professionally conserved, this Heritage first has been restored to addressed fold wear and separations, misfolds, pinholes, and small chips. There were tears into the interior and the poster's top border was trimmed nearly, but not into, the printed area. The borders, title, and purple field have been airbrushed.

    Estimate: $800 - $1,600.
