DescriptionHigh Noon (United Artists, 1952). Very Fine+ on Linen. One Sheet (27" X 41").
Gary Cooper peeks around the corner as he prepares to face his destiny in the climactic scene of High Noon. Cooper won the Academy Award for Best Actor for his role as a small town sheriff whose sense of honor and duty compel him to face a dangerous killer on his own when the townspeople won't step up to help him. The film was directed by Fred Zinnemann, and it co-stars Grace Kelly, Katy Jurado, Thomas Mitchell, and Lloyd Bridges. The poster displays beautifully, with restoration addressing edge and fold wear, pinholes, light scuffs, and minute chips. Still visible are a few faint smudges, and there is airbrushing in the borders and part of the yellow background.
Estimate: $800 - $1,600.
