    Description

    High and Low (Toho, R-1968). Japanese B2 (20" X 28.5").
Loosely based on Ed McBain's popular "87th Precinct" novel King's Ransom, this film follows an executive of a shoe company (Toshiro Mifune) who becomes a victim of extortion when his chauffeur's son is kidnapped and held for ransom. An exciting and suspenseful film, this taut crime drama is one of director Akira Kurosawa's most accessible movies for Western audiences. The poster has slight edge wear and some small amount of crimping within the image and noticeable crimping in Mifune's image. Rolled, Very Fine-.

    Estimate: $200 - $400.
