    Description

Her Idol (Lubin, 1915). Fine- on Linen. One Sheet (28" X 41").
A poster making its first appearance at Heritage, this stone litho one sheet comes from one of cinema's early Westerns, as well as one of the industry's earliest studios. Lubin Manufacturing Company got its start in 1902 and grew exponentially for almost a decade and a half, giving screen appearances to such movie pioneers as Oliver Hardy, Pearl White, Alan Hale, and Alice Mann, to name a few. This piece has had professional conservation to fold separations, extra vertical folds, tears, and some chipping in the borders and folds. The borders and lower white background have been airbrushed, and this exceedingly rare one sheet now looks fantastic!
