    Description

Harlem Is Heaven (Sack Amusement Enterprises, 1932). Fine- on Linen. Full-Bleed One Sheet (28.25" X 41.5").
In one of his earliest films and in his first leading role, Bill "Bojangles" Robinson wows audiences with his incredible dance moves, providing the movie with some truly divine musical segments. Robinson would get his first big break just two years later in the Shirley Temple feature The Little Colonel, where he and the diminutive starlet would form Hollywood's first ever interracial dance team. Though a controversial duo for some, the two were ultimately so popular that they performed in three more films together, forming a lifelong friendship in the process. Full-bleed posters were unusual from this time period, and this one sheet has been partially restored to address fold wear and separations, pinholes, and some small chips and tears. Still visible are mild tape stains along the folds, as well as a few unobtrusive stains and smudges.

    Estimate: $2,000 - $4,000.
