    Gussle's Backward Way (Mutual, 1915). One Sheet (28" X 42").
    Syd Chaplin was half-brother to Charlie Chaplin and his career closely followed his more famous family member. Syd joined Mack Sennett's Keystone Films in 1914 with his first effort a Fatty Arbuckle comedy. This poster was for a continuing series of short films involving the character Gussle and was Chaplin's eleventh short. The poster, prior to professional restoration, had some chipping on the right border and the upper right corner as well as the lower border. The image was largely intact with only fold separation. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
