    Description

Gun Crazy (United Artists, 1949). One Sheet (27" X 41").
Disturbed anti-hero Bart Tare (John Dall) returns home from the army and renews his fascination with firearms. At a carnival, he meets gun-toting Annie Laurie (Peggy Cummins). They soon marry and begin robbing banks on a cross-country spree. Originally titled Deadly is the Female, this hard-boiled crime drama is one of the most popular and campy classics of the film noir genre, and was among the most popular titles of this era. The poster has had touch up to the center cross fold and the letter "A" and "Z" in "Crazy." There was a small chip and tear in the lower right corner near Cummin's right ankle and some general border wear. There appears to have been a long scratch along the right side near the border but has been touched up. The borders have been airbrushed and some areas of the red color have been enhanced. The restoration work was beautifully done and the poster now displays very well. Fine+ on Linen.
