DescriptionGreta Garbo in Ninotchka by Clarence Sinclair Bull (MGM, 1939). Portrait Photo (10" X 13").
A vintage gelatin silver, double weight, glossy finish photo of Greta Garbo in the delightful romantic comedy Ninotchka. Garbo was actually at the height of her fame at the time of this film's release and would retire from the screen forever just two years later, with this being her second to last movie. This lovely profile portrait of the starlet has small corner bumps, a couple of pinholes at the top, and a minor tear in the bottom border. The photo also shows some slight surface rippling. There is typed studio information, photographer credit stamp, and also a publicity stamp on the verso. Very Fine.
Estimate: $500 - $1,000.
