    Description

Gone with the Wind (MGM, 1939). Very Good- on Cardstock. Australian Pre-War Daybill (13" X 33").
Margaret Mitchell's story of the old south, Gone with the Wind, would become one of the greatest films of all-time and also win eight Oscars. This is the original release daybill from Australia and is very similar to the US insert, using a book motif and portraits of Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh, only with a green background added. This poster has been mounted on board, but no restoration has been done to it. It has edge wear, surface paper loss, and smudging. The imprint area at the top has been trimmed, as well as the borders.

    Estimate: $800 - $1,600.
