    Description

Gone with the Wind (MGM, 1939). Good on Linen. Roadshow One Sheet (27.25" X 40.75") Style CF, Armando Seguso Artwork.
Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh star in one of the most important pictures ever made. An adaptation of Margaret Mitchell's classic novel of the Old South before and after the Civil War, the film made Hollywood history by capturing a record-breaking eight Oscars including Best Picture, Director (Victor Fleming), Screenplay, Actress (Leigh), and Supporting Actress (Hattie McDaniel). Artist Armando Seguso's exquisite portrait of the roguish Gable and beguiling Leigh make for an enchanting illustration, so lovely an image that it would again be used for Argentina's advertising campaign. Very rarely presented at Heritage, this extremely rare roadshow style CF one sheet has benefitted from professional restoration which addressed edge and fold wear, significant fold separations, creasing, and tearing into the interior. Also corrected was chipping, paper lifts, and tape stains along the borders and folds. The borders, white background, parts of the upper background, and Vivien Leigh's face. Good on Linen.
