    Gold Diggers of 1933 (Warner Brothers, 1933). World Premier Program (28 Pages, Diameter: 8", Interior: 5" X 5") & British Program (8 Pages, 7.5" X 10.5").
One of the greatest Depression era musicals, Avery Hopwood adapted the 1919 Broadway play about a young man from a wealthy family (Dick Powell) who bankrolls a struggling Broadway show and finds true love in the process. A fabulous production, spotlighting the masterful choreography of the inimitable Busby Berkeley, this is the movie that introduced the songs "We're in the Money," "Remember My Forgotten Man" and "Pettin' in the Park" (a notoriously pre-Code number). Heritage offers for the first time two programs from this excellent musical, one with a specialty design from the world premier at the famous Grauman's Chinese Theatre, the other from the original British release of the film. Both programs are in great shape, with the world premier program only showing a vertical crease near the hinge, minor spine wear, and small paper lifts. The British program shows a detached pages, a rust stain on the cover and inside pages, and hole punches near the spine. Very Fine-.
