Gold Diggers of 1933 (Warner Brothers, 1933). Fine+ on Linen. Ginger Rogers Door Panel (27.25" X 64").
When Warner Brothers did their all-out promotion for this extremely popular film in 1933, they produced a series of six door panels as part of their poster promotion. Heritage is proud to present the panel with Ginger Rogers for the first time. Four of the panels featured showgirls in extremely skimpy costumes, and the other featured Joan Blondell. Ginger is shown in her costume from the famous "We're in the Money" opening sequence choregraphed by the renowned Busby Berkley, which offered a glimmer of hope to audiences during the Great Depression. Benefitting from professional restoration, this incredibly rare poster no longer displays edge wear, tears, surface paper loss, and some chipping at the edges. One of the tears extended into the "E" of "Diggers" and there were a few moderate tears in Roger's image. The borders and white background have been airbrushed. Still visible are a few post-restoration smudges. Fine+ on Linen.

    Estimate: $3,000 - $6,000.
