DescriptionGold and the Girl (Fox, 1925). Fine+ on Linen. One Sheet (27" X 41").
Starring Buck Jones with a very young Carole Lombard in only her second credited film, this B-Western horse opera, directed by Edmund Mortimer found Jones going after a group of desperadoes trying to rob a gold mine. Thrills and action abound in this hour long shoot 'em up ! On an interesting note, this style one sheet is loaded with action and features Buck's dog Pal helping him capture the gang. The poster shows signs of older restoration to areas in the borders where there minor chips and tears at one time. There is minor color touchup to the fold lines and center points. The poster still shows signs of minor smudging in Buck Jones credit.
Estimate: $1,500 - $3,000.
