    Description

    Godzilla (Toho, 1957). Japanese Speed (10" X 28.5") DS.
In 1954, Toho Studios introduced what was to become the longest running film series in history, featuring one of the most famous screen monsters in history. The huge Japanese success of this movie prompted the producers to add scenes with Raymond Burr for the U.S. release. This version was so popular that it also played in Japan the following year. Japanese posters for this version of the first Godzilla movie are exceedingly rare, and this particular example looks terrific, showing only slight fold wear and minor corner bumps. Folded, Very Fine/Near Mint.

    Estimate: $3,000 - $6,000.
