Description

    Go West (MGM, 1925). Window Card (13.75" X 22").
Adhering to Horace Greeley's advice to "Go West, young man," Buster Keaton lands on a cattle ranch and delivers one of his best comedic performances. The love interest is Brown Eyes the cow, who Keaton follows to Los Angeles to liberate (along with a few thousand other cattle) from the stockyards. Keaton does his best to fit the part of cowpoke astride a bucking bull on this stone litho window card. The card has been professionally restored to address pinholes in the lower corners, a tear in the right border, and touched up some spots in the background. There are a couple of minor post-restoration tears in the right border, and four inches of the white imprint area were once trimmed and have been replaced. Finding paper for this film in any format is challenging, making this window card an excellent choice for collectors. Fine+ on Paper.
